Art history: I have been drawing and painting in journals for about ten years now.

I tend to draw with Faber-Castell PITT pens, usualy in a brownish color and then paint with transparent Grumbacher water colors.

I use NiJi waterbrushes when I'm not at home, otherwise I prefer sable bushes.

I tend to change the books I draw in with each new journal (I'm up to volume 45 but for the past few months have not been painting on bound pages but rather on hot press watercolor paper.

Personal: I am Executive Creative Director of a New York ad agency and am at work on my fifth book, tentaively called "Me Time". I live in NEw York with my wife, Patti, my son, Jack, and my two lonhg-haird, miniature dachshunds, Joe and Tim.
