I began drawing and painting 5 or 6 years ago when illness brought my career to a premature end. I eventually moved in the direction of textile art and spend most of my spare time playing with fabric and dye. But I have also tried to keep a visual diary (and a fairly regular drawing habit) since discovering Danny's work a few years ago. I'm a sketchbook addict and buy new ones at every opportunity! At the moment I draw with a rapidograph pen in a moleskine sketchbook and i have a particualr fetish for drawing shoes, although I do try to draw other things too.....

My 8-year-old daughter also keeps a regular visual diary these days - thanks for that, Danny!
