I began sketching just over a year ago and watercoloring six months less than that! I've always kept a written journal and longed to 'illustrate' it myself. After finding this group, my sketching journey has begun -- and what a BLAST it is!

I'm married to a fabulous fellow who sings beautifully and who loves to cook, live on five rural acres, work insane hours trying to develop a community college arboretum, teach, write grants and non-fiction, have three wonderful grandchildren with fantastic parents (my own children, of course!! LOL). I collage, alter books, keep journals for the grandchildren,craft soap, make jam, am very interested in my family's history, anything Italian, especially Sicilian, garden, read, walk and try to squeeze wonder into every moment I have!
