ARTLIFE: As a child I loved to draw and write, however, as I advanced in school preparing for college, there was no time for art, and no room in my schedule. Apparently science and art do not mix.

LIFE: I graduated from nursing school, married, raised three children and worked full-time as an ICU nurse. After the children married I went back to school and graduated from Marquette University with a BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing). My expertise was intensive care nursing and ended as the Infection Control Coordinator in a big medical center.

My first husband died young and I have since remarried. When I got married the second time I retired from nursing because he was already retired (works for me!). When we moved to central Wisconsin I wrote for the local newspaper for five years and loved every minute of it! Looking back I realize that started my path back to creativity.

I have three beautiful and wonderful grandgirls that I adore, and 'inherited' six step-children and 12 grandchildren when I married again!

ARTLIFE AGAIN! I retired from writing and started to sketch again. When I discovered EDM and started my own Blog, I was totally hooked and drawing and painting has become an integral part of my life. Now I spend my time in Wisconsin and Arizona.
